I've decided to open this up for sale now...
Looking to sell or trade my 2008 Rickenbacker 4003. I picked this up just over a year ago (February 2011) and am the second owner. I only used it for 9 months and it has been sitting in its case for the past 4 months now. I will include the original hardshell case (which looks a little rough on the exterior) and everything that came with, including the bridge pickup cover. The bass is in very good condition, other than some buckle rash on the back of the body from the previous owner. There are a couple of knicks here and there but nothing really visable from a couple of feet away. I honestly had no idea they were even there until I was wiping it down the other day. No corrosion on any of the hardware. I love the bass and the tone, its just not for me anymore as I'm gravitating back towards 5-strings. I bought this for a project that I was in and am no longer doing that project and it just doesn't work with what I'm doing now.

As far as what I would be looking for:
I'm mostly interested in a pair of smaller cabinets. More specifically, I'm looking to get a 210/212 configuration but feel free to shoot me some offers of what you've got. Genz Benz, David Eden, Markbass, Bergantino, Aguilar... the usual suspects. I currently use a David Eden D810RP and I'd like to get a couple of smaller, more portable cabinets that I can stack and cover approximately the same area as my D810RP.

For basses, I'm into 5-string actives, more Jazz-style. Not too picky and willing to try something new. I've been using a 2000 Warwick Thumb BO 5-string for the past 11 years and I love it. Its just me. So probably something along those lines.

Sale price is $1400 shipped CONUS. PayPal OK!

Make me some offers! I'm open to anything!:hyper:

Sorry, man! If I were still using 4-strings, I would probably just keep this one...
