I just recently got this in trade from onemorebass, but after sitting and playing for a couple of hours side by side with my Geddy, I prefer the Geddy by a long shot.

I just gave it a set up this evening, with a set of D'Addarios. I cleaned the frets, conditioned the fretboard, strung it up, adjusted the action till it's nice and low, and adjusted the pickup height...WOW! The bass really came alive!

The bass is in fantastic shape for being 11 years old. There are a few scratches on the back of the bass, but you have to look at it in the right light to see them. I also found a couple of dings on the neck at the second fret, but they are small, and can easily be ignored, or if they bother you, put a dab of clear nail polish on there and call it a day. The worst thing I found on the bass is a slight gouge on the fretboard at the 19th fret. It looks like it was caused by a string that was dug in there at some point. Not quite sure how, but in the interest of full disclosure, figured I'd mention it.

The bass comes with a tolex hardshell case. The case is a bit rough in areas, but nothing horrid, just some scuffing and dings. But hey...it's a case right?!?

I'm asking $750 for the bass, plus shipping, which should be about $25. As far as trades go...I have a jazz and 2 P's, so something different would be good. I'd also be into a nice 115 cab to pair with my Trace V-type combo, or effects. (I'd trade the bass straight up for a Pedaltrain JR HC with an EBS MultiComp and UniChorus and a Dunlop 105Q wah. Brand new those things will cost you $688 from musiciansfriend...if you want to go that route and save yourself a few bucks!!)
