  1. I originally bought this rig because I thought I would be gigging with a large horn band. Things have changed and I find myself doing very little gigging and a lot more recording.

SVT4-Pro is in excellent condition mounted in a rack. ON HOLD pending payment

Goliath has some carpet wear but overall very good condition.

Tuner and power conditioner are NOT included.

I do not abuse my gear and this rig has way more power than I ever needed so it was never pushed. Rig has spent most of its life in my heated garage.

I would be willing to meet somewhere in SE Michigan or Northern Ohio. Otherwise, shipping is going to be expensive as both items are heavy/bulky.

For those of you who might be interested in purchasing, prices are as follows:

    SVT4-Pro - $800.00 + shipping

    Goliath III - $400.00 + shipping

Here is what I would consider for trades:

    SWR Redhead combo + cash

Fender American Deluxe Jazz Fretless 4

This rig needs a good home where one of you dudes or dudettes can open it up and stretch it out!!

PM me for more pix and or info.

    Cheers

  2. I'm currently running the same rig, while I wait on my GS112's to get new speakers.

    Bump for a great rig

  3. THX for the bump.

Under different circumstances, this rig would not be on the block.

  4. I now have purchase pricing, see post # 1

is the cab 4 or 8 ohm?

  6. Cab is 4 ohm, and I will include the Speakon special cable for the SVT that allows for 4 ohm operation with a single cab.

If I'm not mistaken, The SVT 4 pro is 1200 watts in bridged mono. the SWR is rated at 700 watts. How loud did you play and did you ever experience speaker fart? thanks

  8. I do not play loud, mostly classic rock and R&B. On the very few gigs I used it on, it was a great old school funk sound that filled the rooms (medium sized clubs) nicely. I used both a 4 and 5er and no farting.

For me, it's all about headroom. I would rather get the sound I want with the instrument and have it faithfully amplified, transients and all.

I would think that if you wanted to do a high SPL gig with this setup, an additional cab would be required.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Yes that did help!:D

  10. Sunday Bump

  11. Would you be willing to hold onto the SVT until July 25th or 26th?

I will actually be passing through Michigan on my way to Wicker Park Fest in Chicago at that time, and if it's still up for sale, I will pick it up without question.

  12. PM sent

  13. SVT 4Pro on hold pending final payment.

  14. BTW,

I am including a like new cover for the Goliath III
