I'm offering these up to get my hands on some of the new Bergantino HD series. These are lighter and more compact than both the HD112 and the HT112ER, at the expense of a bit less extension in the low end. The tweeter is much nicer to my ears however, and the EX112 makes an awesome box for acoustic gigs or whenever the tweeter isn't needed. 36 lbs and at least 1" smaller in all dimensions vs. the 44 lb HD112.

Purchased in 2005. They are in good condition, but obviously the carpet is worn as you'd expect from cabs this age (no tears or rips!) and there is some dust behind the grill (I'll take them off and vacuum if you wish). Photos are at the end of the post.

    $400 for the HT112
    $350 for the EX112

Shipping/fees tbd - please contact me to sort it out. I'm in Niagara Falls, ON and would be willing to meet as far as the GTA or K/W in Ontario and anywhere from Buffalo to maybe Rochester in NY.

Here is the original info from the Bergantino site of late 2002:

    Great cabs!

    Wish I could afford these.

My guess is that Jim B sold more of these than any other of his excellent cabs by a large margin -- that should tell people something.

    Good luck!

Yeah they seriously are some of the best sounding cabs he's made, having played a large variety of them. They just sound like a bass amp! Not super extended in the lows, and not really snappy up top but that tweeter (now discontinued) is the clearest/most natural I've heard.

EADG...players are golden with this pair.
BEAD...players need some judicious EQing (or add a second EX112 -- I've been kicking myself for not going with this 3 1x12 stack with a 2ohm stable head from several years back when I bought my HT322 -- talk about a kickin' rig!).

And yeah -- one of the best tweeters ever made!

I mostly agree. Low B is fine if you're not cranking the volume, but these things like power. 1000 W is not too much if used properly, and they really work a lot better that way.
