    This rig massively slams!
    Beautiful Bmax-t tube preamp, combined with QSC/PLX 1602 lightweight power.
    The Bmax-t has a Class A tube preamp, a three band interactive tone stack with bass/mid/treble (similar to the old fender and alembic designs), bright switch, and additional midrange semi-parametric tone shaping from 250-1000hz all add up to great tone shpaing power; a nice soft-knee optical compressor, the bbe sonic maximiser with low contour and bbe process, and Jensen transformer on the DI.
    The QSC/PLX 1602 provides 1600 watts bridged into 4 ohms, or 300/500/800 per side at 8/4/2 ohms...that's right, 2 ohms per side: run four 4 ohm cabs if you want!
    All this in a nice lightweight SKB 3 space rack.

    All items in fine shape, lightly used, and well cared for.

    $300 for the Bmax-t-on hold for jnewmark
    $400 for the QSC PLX 1602--PRICE DROP TO $385
    $75 for the SKB rack

    would be interested in a MarkBass F1 as part of a trade deal...

    I can take pics if you insist, but this was previously sold, so it's all boxed, taped shut and ready to go...the previous buyer failed to complete the deal.

    thx-alan

    Chef, any idea on how much the BBE weighs? PS, can't believe you are selling my beloved SKB 3 space! :crying:

    Howdy;
    the bmax-t weighs 9lbs in it's factory box and packing materials...so, maybe 7lbs out of the box.

    I'm fine keeping the rack if folks want the components seperately.

    Absolutely loved the Bmax-T tone when I had my rack rig. Still miss it at times, and seeing as how it looks like i'm progressing toward a blue's gig I think I'll probably be missing it even more in the coming months.
