SOLD FS/FT: Dingwall Super J5 Custom Exotic NAMM

    For sale or trade: Dead mint 2008 NAMM Dingwall Super J5 Custom Exotic. This was a prototype and as such, there is no serial number. Chambered Alder body, unreal Bubinga top, 5 piece Maple neck, Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard. Dingwall Super Fatty pups, 18 volt Glockenklang 2 band pre (upgraded from original Aguilar pre), Hipshot ultra light tuners. 8 pounds 14 ounces! Volume (push/pull for active/passive), 4 position knob (bridge, both parallel, both series, neck), treble (cut/boost), and bass (cut/boost). The chrome mini-switch was for the original Aguliar pre and is no longer on the bass. Scale length is 35" on the low "B" (huge and tight sounding) to 32" on the "G" string. Nice Dingwall gig bag also in excellent condition. $3,700.00 obo shipped ground insured (No fee transaction). Trade wise - 4 or 5 string fretted high end only please such as Alleva Coppolo, Sadowsky, MTD, Smith, possibly Nordy, etc. Sorry ** CONUS only **. Some pics:

    so, probably not the best place to ask but what's the explanation of the fan frets ? is it hard to play?

    Nope. Very easy to adapt to. In fact, I never had to adapt; playing multiscale came natural.

    May I ask, how does the fanned fretboard affect the sound & performance (the playability) of this?
