This bass plays very sweetly. It's natural tone is fairly polite and under control, the voice of this bass fits very easily into both live and recorded mixes.

It is definitely a 30 year old bass and has been played. It has some well earned wear and tear on the body, but nothing too serious. The neck, fretboard and back, are very clean.

I am somewhat on the fence about selling this bass. It has some sentimental value to me, but I am open to discussion.

Looking for $475 with the buyer paying for shipping from CA zip 94550. I usually deal with Postal Money Orders only for sales (no PayPal).

I am open to trades and I'm good with +cash options on my end depending on whats offered in trade. I am interested in:
    - GK MB Fusion 500 or 800
    - Aguilar Tone Hammer 500
    - or ???

so, talk to me TB, lets see what we can do with this bass.

More pics would be great, especially of the back of the neck and headstock.

I've got two of these (fretted / fretless); they are among the heaviest I own. Not something you want on your shoulder for a 2hr set, but for recording, it is a tone monster, and mixes nicely, as the seller said.

I'd like to have this one myself. A shame I just purchased another bass which in retrospect, wasn't worth the $.

GLWTS - I'll be keeping my eye on this one!

thanks. it does record very nicely. I have gigged it too, and while heavier than the average Jazz, it's really not so bad. It's also a very well balanced bass.

  14. Regatta de Blanc album uses a Fretless version - I've had one since 1992 and adore the sound. Tracks superbly in studio (possibly better than my Tobias). A delight to play, 3rd set you start to feel it if you only play this bass.

    GLWTS.

    price reduction bump.
    now offered at $475

this will be my last price cut on this bass. Not in any hurry to sell it, if it does not go at this price I will just put it away for a while.

still open to trades. besides the amps listed on the original post (GK and Tone Hammer), I am now open to fretless 4's too.

    thanks for looking
