    Neck sold pending payment.

    Body is sold too!

Here is a nicely matched pair of MIJ Fender pieces. A 1994 JB62-FL neck and a 1987 Jazz Bass Special body.

Would you like a nice pickguard-less PJ without the full-on Duff Mckagan black neck treatment? Here ya go.

Hardware updated to chrome on the body except for the black Schaller (straplock) strap buttons. All original electronics. Passive Vol-Vol-TBX tone.

The maple/rosewood neck is in great condition and produces great "mwah" tone. It has a beautiful dark fretboard with side dots at the fret positions. The basswood body has some scuffs, scars and dulled paint from being played well...a good rub-out would do wonders.

Currently strung with TI Jazz Flats.

The bass is light as to be expected...just over 8 pounds.

Price is $475 shipped in the 48 contiguous US. Includes a used Fender gigbag.

Trade bait is limited to a Fender compatible Jazz bass body preferably unloaded...with cash +/- to be determined.

    Here's the photos:

Here are photos of the main dings in the bass. There are many little imperfections as basswood is pretty prone to dents, but these are the only ones that are easy to photograph.

Oh, and about the TI Flats vs Chromes...

The Chromes are noticeably higher tension and a little grittier sounding than the TI's. If you'd rather have the Chromes, I can swap the strings and give a quick setup before sending.

Man, that's a whole lotta awesome for not a lot of cash.
Can I call the bass "Jaco McKagen"?

GLWTS, my good man! Wish I had the dough (damn taxes).
