SOLD FS/FT Fender Parts P - Flamed/Quilt Maple top!!

This bass has certainly made the rounds here on TB, but I just got an Fbass BN5 and frankly...this is just sitting and will keep sitting!!

The bass was originally built by our very own bassdr. He let me know that the seller he bought the neck and body from, claim that they are Warmoth 2nds, but I can't really see why they would be seconds at all...and since I had it the first time, I think it has had 4 different pups in it. I've tried it with three, an EMG Select, a normal ol' Fender MIM P pickup, and the current pickup, a Seymour Duncan Basslines. The Basslines beats the crap out of everything else I have heard in this bass! Very thumpy and a beast tone-wise! The body looks to be ash, with a flamed/quilted maple top.

Visually, this bass is the complete package for me! The cherryburst is a beautiful finish and the flame/quilt is absolutely breathtaking. If I were to keep the bass, I'd toss on a badass and some flats and call it a day just based on my preferences. It's currently wearing a set of DR Lo-Riders.

The neck is 1.625" at the nut, and the bass weighs in at 8.5 lbs! A lightweight, killer p.

Asking $550 shipped in an older, slightly beat Ibanez hardshell case. I'll consider trades for other basses, amps, cabs, effects...feel free to run things by me! I can toss in an Akai Headrush to even out a trade as well. If anyone has a beat up ol' Stingray, I'd trade for that in a heartbeat! I also have about $150 in cash that I could pony up for the right trade as well. Other basses I'm interested in are Laklands, (4402, 5502, DJ4 or 5 and JO4 or 5) or other Fenders...
