    Hey there TB'rs.

Check out this cool little Jazz bass.

The bass looks, feels, sounds and plays like a Fender, but I am afraid that it may not be. The neck looks like it could be a Fender original, but it does not have any serial numbers and has been refinished. The body is brand new and looks to be aftermarket, but does not have any markings to tell who it's made by.

Here is what has been done to this great little bass.

Neck - Back of neck has been completely sanded and refinished using a proprietary Oil/poly blend. (this is the same proprietary finish that Fender master luthiers use on their necks) The frets have been leveled, crowned, polished and dressed.

Body looks new and has been completely shielded and grounded

Electronics/p-ups - New Vintage cloth style wiring, New USA CTS vintage pots, New .047 Tone cap, New Switchcraft jack. Pickups are used aftermarket Alnico V units with great output and jazz tone. (sounds like Fender Jazz bass should)

Hardware is like new with no issues.

    I am asking $349

What, no love for this awesome little bass?

How about a little weekend price drop bump to start off the weekend.

    O.P. reflects new price.

    Thanks.

Absolutely. PM me. What you got?

  11. PM coming. Are you thinking it's a Harmony since that is what the neckplate says?

No the Harmony neck plate is just a neck plate I had laying around becuase I did not have a chrome one to use. It's been changed out.

I am 99% certain the body is aftermarket, although not sure of the source and the neck is a Squier VM that I purchased with the "Fender" badge on it already. I am also 100% certain that the pickups are aftermarket Alnico V units, but uncertain of the origin and the Electronics are USA CTS tone pots hand wired by me.

Hope that helps answer some questions.
