I had the matching wenge ramp custom made by David King and installed when i first got it 3 months ago, it is adjustable for height and i have it set low for now (i still like to dig in from time to time). It can be low enough that it wont get in the way of traditional playing, or high enough to facilitate Gary Willis style soft touch technique. At its best it makes playing easier, its worst it just makes the bass look cool, if you choose to take it off the holes are tiny and easy to fill using the same wood the ramp is made of. You will not find a 6 string bass that is easier to play or transition to. Weighs in under 9 pounds and the balance is perfect.

Contrary to popular belief, these basses are very warm and organic sounding, although with the pre alot can be done to get that hi-fi edge if needed, and with the low voltage there is no volume difference when switching to passive.

I have had issues in the past when shipping with USPS (cheap, but takes forever), I will ship using UPS or Fedex fully insured 5-7 day ground to avoid any confusion.
