    Hello everyone-

Up for sale [DEL]or trade[/DEL] is my wonderful L-2500. I had this up earlier, but the thread was getting cluttered, so I figure it's time to make a new one.

It's in near new condition, 9.5/10 being a conservative estimate. If you're not familiar with this particular model of G&L, it's THE most versatile bass I've ever owned. It can go from Passive P to Ric by simply flipping some switches. The low B is also surprisingly tight and focused, especially for a 34" scale.

Looking for [DEL]$900[/DEL] $850, Shipped to the lower 48. I might be able to work something out for an international sale, but it's not likely.

    Thanks and happy bassing!

Price drop bump! Also, I just bought a new P, so I think I'm gonna stop entertaining trade offers for now.

It's been awhile. I was almost sure I found an interested buyer, but it didn't work out. I'd also be interested in the right trade

For those us who are not familiar with switching / wiring that makes the bass so versatile, could you describe it? Thanks

    Sure-

The three switches are: Pickup selector (Bridge, neck, or both), Series/Parallel (or, bass boost/cut), and an active/passive switch. These make the bass super versatile because you can go from a very realistic classic P bass tone (neck pickup, bass boost, and passive) to a Ric-like tone (bridge pickup, bass cut, active) with just a few switch flips. Great for a player that needs several easy to access tones (cover band gig, anyone?). Here's a more detailed link:

    Also, price drop!
