55-02D maple neck I bought this bass on TB as present to myself for my 40th birthday but after a year my tendinitis/wrist is telling me that a 35" scale, 5-string is not my thing. Here's the original thread http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-ft-lakland-55-02-deluxe-658692/ THis bass has the LH-3 preamp and is a Korean Skyline. Very straight neck. I added new knobs to it, as I felt the plastic stock knobs were a bit cheap feeling. The new ones look like sadowsky or pedulla type knobs. I will post pics when I get home. There are a couple of small dings that resulted from playing on a small stage too close to the drummer that you will able to see in the pics I will post. I don't have a scale to weigh it but it's pretty light (certainly lighter than my Hamer Cruise bass with a 2Tek bridge) My guess is that it's 9lbs or so. Nothing like a boat anchor and comfortable on those 4 hour gigs. For sale, I'm looking to get $[DEL]950[/DEL] $900 and I will ship it in the hard shell case that it was shipped to me in. The case is a little beat up but very sturdy. For trade, I'm really looking for a 4-string P or P/J (in the 8-9 lbs. range) but am open to offers. Thanks for looking.
