Reposting this for a short time with some more trade options.

Open to any trade offers on 4-6 string Spector Euro's or better and 4-6 string EBMM US basses only. The For Sale price is firm - let's see if we can trade this off.

    **************************

This is a Lakland Skyline 55-64 5-string precision style bass. 35" scale.

I bought this from a fellow TB'er last summer who had originally purchased it new and used it briefly. It's a fantastic 5-string P-bass with a tight low B due to the 35" scale. Has a really nice classic P bass growl with rounds.

These basses only come in 3-tone sunburst (which I can't stand!), and I decided to send the bass to Pat Wilkins of Wilkins Guitars who does all of Lakland's US finishes. He did an absolutely beautiful custom refinish on this to a translucent green. The pictures don't do it justice - the green pops a bit more in person.

I still have the original mint pickguard as well but I liked the black better.

The bass has some minor marks on the tip of the headstock which I believe occurred when it shipped to me originally in a gig bag. I've since acquired a Lakland hardshell case for the bass which will be included.

The bass has never gigged and has seen somewhat limited use in my home studio.

This bass was PLEK'd at Lakland in Chicago.

Weight appears to be a little over 10 lbs. I weighed myself with and without the bass on the trusty bathroom scale and came up with a 10.2 difference.

This bass has Dunlop Dual Design strap locks installed and I will include the pieces necessary to attach to your strap as well.

I've invested over $600 in the bass between the refinish and the hardshell case, so I'm setting what I think is a fair price.

$1100 shipped CONUS only. Paypal OK.

Trades: Euro/US Spectors and US EBMM's considered with cash +/- as appropriate. Other offers will be politely ignored.

    PM with any interest.

OK got my Ebay account issues sorted so this bass will be hitting Ebay after the Memorial Day weekend. Could really use the cash but still open to the Spector and EBMM trades noted above.

You should just keep it and have Carl Pedigo at Lakland add his J bass pickup to the bridge. It will then be a truly killer instrument that I and many others would covet
