Edit: I also have the 2 pdf documents for them. Just added some more trade items. Thanks, Joe

These pics are the actual preamps. I got a stash in a trade and had them all tested for frequency response, phase, and amplification level. I am already using the wired one in the pic. You can see 7 but two are sold, I am using one, and I want to keep 1. That leaves me with 3 to sell or trade.

This is the one that accepts inputs from 2 pickups. They have 2 seperate trim pots and are designed to allow you to mix and match different brands.

The single pickup version is the 1x1AC and are usually found on ebay every once in a great while for $150-$200 (I luckily snagged one for $150.) The 1x1ac is breadboarded (never made it to full production) and doesn't have 2 inputs, a trim pot, or the checklite battery strength checker. The 2x1AC's here are on a pro board with SMT components and have the checklite and 2 trimpots boosting from x2 to x15. Very useful to match a low output with a high output pickup, or to bring up a weak bridge pickup. The 2x1AC is basically double the 1x1AC plus a few extras. It doesn't have to be used with 2 pickups but that is what takes full advantage of it.

$245 plus shipping ($5 or $10 based on location. paypal included)

Wanted in trade. Some of these will be even trades and some not. Generally all 4 string stuff unless noted.

Trade list: +$ means you add cash, -$ means I add cash.

Lane Poor Jazz bass set (Jazz 5 considered)
Lane Poor Musicman MM4 (MM5 considered)
Rockbass Streamer Standard (they were blowing these out on ebay for $200 at one time.)
Geddy Lee jazz bass neck w/ tuners or +$
    Schecter Studio 8 string -$
    Brice 8 String -$
Allparts or Warmoth Geddy Lee neck or rosewood/abalone block neck w/ tuners +small$
Fender or Fender replacement necks +$
Warwick or Rockbass neck +$ or +more$
    8 string bridge and/or tuners +$
Warmoth 8 string bass neck w/ tuners +$
    Q-Tuners +$
    Nordstrands +$
    Villex +$
    Benedetti (sp?) +$
    Seymour Duncans with switches +$
Ernie Ball Sabre pickups +$ (these are smaller than StingRay pickups. With or without exposed poles fine.)
    G&L pickups +$ (any config SB-2, L-2000 etc)
Trace Elliot or status hyperactive jazz pickups +$
other non-typical high end pickups +$
various other inboard preamps (demeter, audere, j-retro) +/-$
outboard tube preamp or amp +/-$
    Maybe other decent stuff +$

I am not interested in things like boss pedals, or really anything too common. If it's common or cheap and I wanted it, I probably already have it. But feel free to run stuff by me.

    Thanks,
    Joe

Are these just for balancing seperate pickups, or do they also have EQ adjustment?

    Thanks,
    Karl

They are just for balancing pickups, adding clean gain, and taking a bass from passive to active (less loss of highs over cable.) The gain is from x2 to x15.

Lane was working on an EQ module that never gt completed before he went out of business.

    Thanks for the interest, Joe

I might if it doesn't ebay. I have one that I picked up with 3 sets of pickups, and it was $125 (not bad!). I'm interested, though! :)

hmmm was it the 1x1ac because those normally go for $125-$150... I bought one a few months ago for $140 and put it in a box as an external preamp. The 2x1AC has 2 of the 1x1ac circuits plus trim pots for each pickup (can be used with a single though) and it also has the check-lite LED for the battery.

I'd say go bid on ebay.

The very last one I am listing is up on ebay...

EduardoK won the last auction... he is here on TB. He will have his before this one ends...

also I have removed the private listing this time which was actually a mistake last time but I realized it after I had a bid and a dozen watchers so I couldn't change it and I didn't want to cancel it.
