This is a 1999 Q5 with an absolutely gorgeous unlined Chechen board. It's finished in a dark black cherry over a very nice quilted top. The electronics are EMG and it sports black hardware.

The unlined Chechen board is perfect and the action is super low. This is really quite an amazing bass. Every time I sit down with it, even when it's not plugged in, I am captivated by it's playability and organic tone.

There are no dings, dents or serious scratches on this bass. Just a few minor signs of having been played. The neck is absolutely perfect. No issues.........

$1,860.00 shipped and insured in the CONUS.

I will consider trades for 34" scale or possibly 34.5" scale basses theat are less than 9.5 pounds. I am most interested in a nice 5 string right now but would certainly consider a 4. Sadowsky, Lull, Skjold, Kinal, Dingwall, Xotic, Nordstrand, Pedulla, Stambaugh, Marleaux, Lakland, Ristola, Yamaha, Brubaker, RBass, Elrick, MBass, Moon, Roscoe, G&L (US), Fender (US), fretted or fretless! No single cuts, MusicMan or Spectors!

    Let the games begin..........

  2. Any interest in re-acquiring your Line6 Variax 5 string plus a new GR-55? :bag:

    Side dots at fret positions?

Don't hesitate to deal with Spencer - stand up guy and his equipment is as described (or better).

    Good luck with the sale/trade.

    Hey Rob,

Not really interested in a Variax these days I'm afraid. The Modulus has dots at 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 etc.....

Thanks for the positive comments. This bass is quite excellent in every way.

Pristine bass. That fretboard is 100x better in person, one of the nicest I have ever seen. If I played more fretless, you wouldn't be reading this!! GLWTS

  5. Oh my. I would definitely adjust to 35" for this!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the good words. It's a beauty for sure! If it was only a 34" scale it wouldn't be going anywhere........

Buyer backed out so it's available again for sale or trade..... :rollno:

It is also now listed on Ebay but I would much prefer to sell it here if possible.

An unlined Q5 is a rather rare bird. I have only seen one other. Don't miss your chance to own this amazing instrument!
