Hey all, I have here for sale an MTD JJ5, an absolutly spectacular insturment. the crafsmanship on this thing is second to none. I bought this thing very recently from another TB'er. I had had interest in an mtd for a long time and decided to try this one out knowing if it did not work out I could just put it on TB and get my money back or the roscoe I was also considering. Once again great bass just not my bag. So here is what i am looking for. $2000 plus shipping. $2000 is exactly what I paid. not looking to make anything here as far as a profit. Or any type of 5-string roscoe I will also consider a 6 but greatly prefer 5's. Note: Not looking for any 4 strings or anything besides a roscoe so please don't offer them. any other q's feel free.

This is a great bass. But please don't let this bass be your MTD reference point because your bass is totally different that the non j bass models. Good luck with your sale and a free bump.

True. IIRC, this particular MTD has a lot of neat things going like an ash neck, etc. Fill us in on the details. Beautiful bass, BTW!

This is a great bass and deserves a good home. I didn't get rid of it because of tone, but because I had too much of the same thing. Someone pick this bad boy up!!

agreed...i only got rid of it because of the size...it felt a little big to me (i prefer smaller bodied basses - i heard this was a down-scaled jazz, but not so much, it feels like, to me)

I was second owner of this bass.
    It is 34" scale.
    And It kills.

I only sold it because I needed an old P-bass fast.
And did not have money to buy it.
