Hey everyone - this is an oddball that's for sure. I'm the sole owner and got it new in 2004. I've never seen/heard of another one like it. It's a SUB, but I had it overhauled by Mike Lull.

The quick story is I didn't have the cash flow to pay for what I wanted while in college so I bought the bass, and then spent a year saving so I could over haul it. Brought it to Mike in Bellevue and had him rip out all the guts and install an active/passive bartolini pre-amp system - seems to be a custom harness. He also did a full set up and planed the fingerboard. I spent the same amount on the overhaul as I did buying the bass.

It sounds great, but I never play it. It's been on about 10 gigs in its lifetime. Mostly sat unused, as I always opted for the upright instead. I finally just can't justify keeping it and would like to try something new. I just had it re-set up and put a new set of DR flats on it.

Comes with a standard one size fits all hardcase.

Specs:
bartolini Pre (not sure which system). when the first knob is pushed in, it's active. Second knob is a mid control/scoop. second is bass boost cut, third treble boost cut. Pull the first knob out and its passive with the second knob being a tone control.
weight - just around 10lbs.
34" length.


Good mwah, great "upright sound" with the mids dialed back. great sound flexibility since its active, and cosmetically not a scratch or nick on it. 9/10

Not fretless, Active 5s or 6s, acoustic bass guitars, Peavey Cirrus 5/6, J style basses not by Fender, or odd vintage stuff. show me what you got! definitely willing to add cash. I'm into this this more than $1200. Definitely willing to add cash to make a fair deal - this thing has literally never been played.
