only time I've ever really seen a used SUB for sale/trade was here. Only major difference between this and that is color, and casing.

Cosmetically about an 9 or a 9.5. The top of the head has some paint off. That's it and that's all. I'll have pics up later.

SUB is in Teal, regularly goes for $700 new. Perfectly does the MusicMan Stingray sound; I don't think MusicMans (MusicMen?) are hit-or-miss basses like the Fender factory line can be, but if they are this is a hit for sure.
If were up to me, I'd keep and just have myself what I want; but I must get rid of what I'm attached to for a great good: I want a MusicMan Bongo.

$475 shipped. Will do local pickup for less.
Will also include new strings & gigbag.

Some pics of me (...yes I look weird) and my bass:

I had this up before but deleted it cause the title wouldn't change to the new price.

This might be a stupid question, but I read one the Music Man website that there are some Subs with active electronics and some with passive electronics. Am I right? How can I tell the difference and what kind is yours?

Thanks for any info you can supply.

I read this too, but I only found one kind for sale.
One of the buyers told me it was the "active model" - its the one that's for sale on Musiciansfriend - but if it is the active model, I've never actually seen a passive model myself.

It has an active EQ/pre amp, and passive pickups.

Apparently there is one with no active pre-amp and passive pickups.

How can you tell the difference? I'd guess number of knobs, but I've never seen one that wasn't like mine in terms of functionality & active/passiveness, so I don't know if that's true. I'd say the best way is to ask the owner, lol.

Mine is the active model; I always thought that I had the passive model and that the active model had active EQ and active pickups, but then someone who was interested in it (the first sale that fell through) was very happy when he said I had the active model.

So yeah. I knew what I had, I never knew what made up which model until that man.

Hope I gave the information you wanted without... over rambling.

    Is there a battery?
    No Battery = passive
Battery = active (preamp or pickups)

    Still for sale.

Interested trades: a drumset (!), a rig of equal quality (or a cab or a head... parts of a rig... etc), a Fender P, or a 6 string.
