I bought this head about 2 years ago and it worked great for that entire time I owned it. During a show about a month ago, it turned off by itself and when I tried turning it back on it stayed on for about 3 seconds before shutting off automatically. I think it's a power issue, but I'm not sure. I recently bought an Eden head, so I'd rather let someone who knows what they're doing fix and enjoy this one. These amps have a very nice set of features such as a tube and a solid state preamp which can be blended, a variable crossover for biamping, a good EQ section, 2 ohm capability, etc. Power Output with DDT™ Compression Active: 200 W RMS into 8 ohms 350 W RMS into 4 ohms 500 W RMS into 2 ohms The T-MAX scores very well on the Harmony Central user reviews, here's the link: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Bass+Amp/product/Peavey/T+Max+Head/10/1 I'm selling, but also open to trades. I paid $400, so it seems like a good deal. I doubt repairs would cost anything close to that. Please feel free to ask questions!
