  1. Recent holiday impulse buy, really not quite my thing but wanted to give it a try. This is a very rare Steve Azola Nouveau prototype

    Here are specs...plays and sounds beautiful and in great shape 9+ out of 10.

    I had an Azola Scarab EUB for several years, purchased new from Steve. First class workmanship and great player. Sorry I sold it (here on TB) a while back. Too bad Steve got out of the luthier business (at least too bad for us). GLWTS!

    Out of curiosity, what are the pups and preamp?

    Ain't that the truth. I've had a couple of Steve's basses and both were outstanding....real player's instruments.
