Up for sale is a Sadowsky UV70 4-String Jazz in Excellent condition (minor scratches on pickguard, but that is all). I'm the original owner and have only owned it for about 3 months. I just purchased this for $2950 and its never been brought out of the house.

I'm only selling becuase I'm favoring the 60's style J basses right now, and have some other projects going on I could use the funds for. Otherwise, this is a GREAT / keeper bass!

Wood color combo is THE QUINTESSENTIAL 70's look IMO :)

    Weight is approx 9.5lbs -

Tone jumping off this bass is very versitile.
Passive mode - you can get a great warm fingerstyle tone, but with that slight 70's style bridge pickup grind / edge.
Active mode with the VTC wide open and in with bass & treble boosted just a touch - you can get very aggressive 70's tone.
I would describe this specific bass as very tight and punchy, with a 70's aggresive bridge pickup tone. It can be very traditional sounding (passive w/ VTC) or it can be be very modern sounding. Very versitile.

Price: $2300.00 Shipped Fee Free Transaction.
TRADES: I will consider Nordy vJ4 or vJ5 trade offers.
This bass is in essentially brand new condition... Save yourself $650 dollars!

Nice! I have a '78 JB all original that looks just like this. It would be cool to compare it side by side. Too bad I'm not ready financially.

  12. I really like that bass but, I'm pondering different choices right now. I'm trying to decide what bass is going to go along with my 5 string NYC Sadowsky Jazz.
