***This bass is on it's way to Finland*****TRADED*******

Up for sale or trade is my Skjold singlecut fretless Whaleback 6er. I'm selling/trading because I recieved a 5 string fretless Whaleback that I'm digging on. The 5er is a keeper!!

    Here are some pics:

The bass has some wear. It was never abused, but it has been well used. The gold hardware is starting to tarnish a bit, and the back of the neck is really broken in. (I dig the broken in feel.) I will ship in a ProTec gig bag.

For outright sell, I would like to get $2200 for it. Or I am open to trades. Run them by me......

    Disclamer:
Now, you may have seen this bass for sale a few years back at a much lower price. By the time it got to me, it had risen in price and I put alot more into it.

If you haven't seen it, for sake of full disclosure, here is the thread:

    This joint is brilliant!!!
The best bolt-on single-cut joint I've ever seen.
You can tell that a lot of thought about where the thumb will want to naturally go went into this.

    BUMP for brilliance :)

Yeah, Pete's a fretless player, himself, so he knows how to build them.

Would you be interested in trading for my Linc fretless? I was really looking to grab the Sukop that is ending on eBay, but someone is bidding on it which means they're gonna beat my deal. Played my Linc today, not sure I want to let it go, but I'll see what you say.

I'm not sure what the spacing is, but I don't have any issues switching between this bass and 4 string. It's definitely not narrow at all.

All PM's have been replied to. Nothing definite, but some cool offers.

  11. Hey Nicky, that thing looks like it's 2 1/2 inches thick...how thick is the body?

Also, are there any side lines or position markers?

Hmmmm. It does look thick in the pics, but it's not any thicker than a standard bass.

There are dot markers on the sides (where the frets would be.)
