Hey everybody! I've decided to keep my old Modulus, so I'm selling my Status Empathy 6 fretless.

    34.7" scale neckthrough
Woven graphite neck with phenolic fingerboard
High gloss lacquer on entire neck and body
Three-band EQ with variable frequency midrange control
Master volume and pickup blend controls
A pair of Status hum-cancelling pickups
Book-matched exotic facing wood with contrasting veneer laminate
3-piece back with centre 'tone block'

I bought it used a couple of years ago and never really used it (rehearsed a few times with it). Changed the pickups because of a hum issue; bought some Hyperactive here on TB and they work as good as the originals. The bass is in really good condition, some light scratches on the finish and that's it.

    2500$ firm.

As far as trades are concerned, five or 6 strings only.

    MTD 535, Roscoe, Ken Smith
    OR
"Super Jazz" like Dingwall, Celinder, Nordstrand custom, LEJ, etc.

Let's see what you have and what we can do :D

I'd consider trading my Linc Luthier 6 for it if you're interested, but I'd have to mull it over. What do you think?

I've been looking at the Linc, indeed...Although I'm looking for a more traditional tone and feel, I'm intrigued...Never really heard of them before nor have I heard them at all...

The 6 will not have the sound you want then. It has a very bright tone.

I'm actually probably more inclined to trade you for the 4-string fretless, which has more of a traditional tone. Does that interest you?

It is an aweome bass, I love fretless' with graphite neck. The one I've decided to keep is an old Modulus (prototype from the 1980'S) which is also a graphite neck fretless. It's been my main fretless for 20 years now.

Dave, I think I'll pass on the Linc. Thanks for the offer.

Still looking for a SuperJ of some sort or a MTD/Roscoe. 5 or 6 only.
