So, in a frenzy to find THE bass, I picked up two really nice gems here on TB... The first; an EBMM SUB 4 in glorious white with a darkened rosewood neck... Great condition. There are a couple dings and scratches in it, including a couple on the headstock, one in the neck pocket, and a ding near the rear strap button. Here's the original ad: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-ebmm-us-sub-stingray-1022879/ Next; a '53 Fender Precision Sting bass with a non-Sting neck (which means no sig on the 12th fret) and a Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 pickup. 250k pots (small size - no routing), upgraded wiring and electronics. Body has a few small marks below the bridge and faint swirls and scratches on back. 8/10 or better. Neck is very nice. Light fret wear. 9/10. Wearing new Fender flats. Again, here is the original ad: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fender-precision-p-bass-1953-1954-custom-sting-mij-1022394/ I've since played both basses only once or twice and they sound terrific, but there's just too many similar basses in my collection to justify these duplicates. So, I'm selling both basses for the same price as listed before: $500 shipped for the EBMM SUB 4 $550 shipped for the '53 Precision -- ON HOLD -- I'd really like a local sale on either/both of these basses Trades? Yes, I am open to trades... but the list is semi-limited: Aguilar +/- cash Lakland +/- cash Gibson, Gretsch or Fender six-string guitars +/- cash Oh, i'm not in a big hurry... Don't need the money, there's still plenty of space in my house, and the wife is not yelling at me to thin the herd. So, there's no need to PM me with crazy lo-ball offers.
