For Sale: A complete Furman Headphone System. They call it an "Audio Distribution" system. This was used by my band as an in-ear monitor setup for practices. The band is no longer together, so I don't need it. But it worked flawlessly for us, and I hope someone out there can benefit from it like we did. Package includes: Qty 1 Furman HDS-6 (specs here: http://www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=HDS-6), including two short ethernet cables (blue and black coiled cables in the middle of the picture). Original packaging was recycled, and will not be included. This unit shows some scratch marks where it was racked and unracked a few times. Qty 5 Furman HR-6 (specs here: http://www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=HR-6), including original packaging, all mic stand mounts (not shown in picture) and ethernet cables (blue and gray coiled cables at the top of the picture). Qty 1 Furman HR-6SPLT (no spec page, but you can see it in this accessories list: http://www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=PRO_ACCESSORIES) I've fully tested the entire system. All ports and channels are working. I even tested every cable with an ethernet tester. I'm asking $550. Shipping is included. Payment accepted via PayPal.
I had to read up on the Aviom a bit. It's definitely geared more toward the high-end than this Furman setup. The personal mixers support up to 16 channels and allow bass/mid/treble adjustments. The systems also have clock management to reduce jitter, which means you could even use it as the backbone of your entire studio. Given this, they also cost several times more. So in my not-so-professional opinion: Aviom: high-end, big-budget studios and arena/stadium/theater touring acts Furman: Mom-n-Pop studios, small/medium clubs, practice rooms Hope this helps.
