    1996 G&L L-1500 with hardshell case.

Custom Honey over swamp ash with a maple neck. The only blemish is a small chip on the back of the headstock at the tip of that little point located midway on the headstock (see photo).

Currently setup with a set of Fender 9050ML Flats with low action. Plays like butter.

$600 shipped in the lower 48.

    Paypal or MO

  2. Very interested.
How does a L1500 differ from an L1000?
    What's the weight like?

    First off, sweet bass dhodgeh.

Having owned both a 1500 and a 1000, I'll chime in hopefully helpfully.

Think of it as the 1500 is more like a Stingray, the 1000 is more like a Precision (mostly referring to pickup placement). The 1500 has all the specs listed on the G&L site, so you can see all the groovy options. The 1000 is 100% passive (or at least mine was).

Hi, what's the nut width? An important measurement for some of G&L-ophiles.

  7. I had an L-1505 (5 string version) for a short while. I have never cut through the mix better with any other bass.

A little more info on the bass.

The nut is 1 3/4 inches, 12 inch radius.

It weighs in at 10 lbs.

It's a wee bit wide and a wee bit heavy for me, but that is one GREAT looking bass!!!
