I've got a chance to pickup a gorgeous 300, so I need to of course clear this one out. I don't know what year it is, but it is very clean, considering how long ago these were discontinued. It looks stunning. Very few fine surface scratches. Only defect is a titled tone knob. Has a great passive Stingray sound. I'd like $150 plus shipping. I need to clear this ASAP. Paypal accepted.

Yep, it's passive. If I didn't have other priorities, I would have picked this up when I first saw it posted this morning. $150 for the bass, then the pre of your choice would turn this into one heck of a steal!

Yep, I thought the same thing. I was going to snag this until I thought about all the other basses I have sitting at home I need to get rid of. I have a couple I really like, the rest sit.

pick up a used aggie obp-1 for 50-60 bucks, and this thing would be killer. Someone snag this up, this is a deal.

I can attest to the fact that this bass is freakin clean. Patrick brought it to a gig that our bands were playing together and this bass didn't have a scratch on it. It also played very nice. We were both interested in what one of those p-retro (single knob version of j-retro) would sound like in it. probably killer!

Bump for a nice bass and a nice guy.
