  1. This is my 1999 Ibanez SR885. I am original owner and it was kept in great shape. A couple of cosmetic dings--one by the output jack and a couple small scratches on the very top of the headstock. Was my main bass until I got my StingRay and it was kept around as my only 5er until I got my Roscoe 6... I absolutely don't need it now.

I put Dunlop strap locks on it and will include original strap lock hardware with purchase, but the Dunlop strap locks will work with a stap without locks. I also replaced the trussrod nut and the bridge saddles with stock parts from Ibanez. I added a thicker neck shim than it had in it. I will include the original shim so you can always shim back down to the way the it came from the factory, but it plays better with mine! Includes Ibanez hard case.

    $450 + shipping. Paypal preferred.

    She's a beaut..

Handles low action like a champ

    Tuned E-C

Versatile 3-band EQ with sweepable mid, pickup balance, and master volume

    Back of neck is black

    Ding by output jack

And a couple of dings up top

  9. This was my first 5 string model - before I became a six string person. Great playability and great tone. Personally, I'd change out the electronics only because of the stacked pots. Otherwise, a bump for a great bass at a great price!

  10. My first 5er as well. Thanks for the bump

    I just did.

Can I recommend that you edit the first post in the thread with your current asking price? Many people look there and no further if they don't like the price they see. Good luck with the sale.
  20. Such an old thread, it won't let me edit that high up... think I'll make a new posting. Thanks for the tip.
