  1. Hear this actual bass in action:

    Soundclip: With Pick
    Soundclip: Fingerstyle

Up for grabs is this Jay Turser violin bass. Fantastic clone of a Hofner. It is super light, and the short-scale neck makes playing a breeze. The hollow-body construction creates an awesome "old school" tone that can't be matched.

I have installed a fresh set of LaBella Flatwound Strings, specifically designed for Hofner basses, just like Sir Paul plays. These strings cost $50. The sound is unbeatable. :bassist:

Comes with a very nice hardshell case.

Will ship by FedEx Ground, insured. Sorry, no trades.

    Price: $265 Shipped!

Here is my eBay feedback, if anyone is curious: eBay Feedback

Free bump for what I consider the nicest of all the 500/1 copies. I've played the Hofner Icon, Epiphone Viola, and a Rougue copy, and the Jay Turser was the nicest of them all.

  6. Amen to that. I once owned the Rogue as well. It doesn't even come close.

I have the Turser tele-bass clone also, and it is incredible. Good stuff.

  7. Bump.
