Lakland USA made 44-60 Joe Osborn 4-string bass, in lake placid blue, alder body with rosewood fingerboard, pearl blocks and binding (an $800 factory option), in nearly brand new condition - almost dead mint. Built in 2011, I purchased this bass locally from the original owner who almost never played it. It looks and feels brand new. The action is low and the neck plays beautifully, as you would expect.

After carefully going over the entire bass looking for damage and wear, I only found three issues. It has a small abrasion from the E string winding and some finish imperfection above the nut where the fingerboard slopes down to the headstock. It has a barely perceptible finish imperfection in the back of the headstock that doesn't show in a photo. It has an extremely small, somewhat circular scratch in the clearcoat (only) on the back of the body near the neck bolts that is difficult to see in the photo, but I took one anyway. Other than some faint scratching on the pickguard, that's it. The headstock is otherwise perfect, the tuners look brand new, and there is essentially zero fret wear - the tops of the frets were hardly even shiny from play. It looked like the original strings were still on it.

The original chrome pickup cover and screws come with the bass. No case candy, but the original truss wrench is included.

The original cream colored HS case has been moved around some so its condition is very good, but there are a few scuffs and marks. The interior of the case looks new.

Bump. Just look at this thing. I've been tempted to move heaven and earth to buy this bass, but just can't seem to swing it. Really good seller too.

If you told me "blue bass with a red pickguard" I'd make this face: :spit:

But when you SHOW me "blue bass with a red pickguard," I'm all like:

These are real nice basses. I really like the colour and the blocks.
