You may remember this one. I bought it from Mark Beem a couple of weeks ago. Problem is I also bought another bass at the same time. Can't keep two 5ers. Turns out that the other has a 34" scale which feels better to my left hand.

This is a Lull M5V - made 11/05 - purchased new by Mark in January 2006. Played very little by him (studio only) and hardly at all by me.

Beautiful trans-black finish that the picture below does not do justice to. What looks like dust or smudges in the picture is actually the grain of the wood. Good grain in the wood - glassy finish - gorgeous. My band mates said "holy s**t" when they first saw it.

No issues at all - no scratches - dings - nicks. Great neck - no fret wear.

Best of all: 8.2 lbs. Very easy on the shoulder and back.

    Specs:

Ash body with trans black finish
    Black pearl pickguard
    35" scale
    18mm string spacing
    Maple neck with rosewood board
    18v Bart 3 band pre

This bass is wonderful!! You won't be disapointed!!

Comes with a Pro-tec soft-sided hard case, with wheels.

$1900 plus shipping. USPS money orders or certified checks.

Not looking for trades but could be tempted by something equally as nice....

    M5V_982a.

    Thanks for your interest.

Would a Zon Souns 5 qualify as "equally as nice" ? I have one the never gets played in trans amber.

Certainly it could - I have nver played a Zon - nor seen one in person. Let me do some research.

BTW - my equally nice comment was put there to mean condition-wise nice - that is no scratches, no dings, mint condition as this bass is. I wasn't trying to upset anyone about their equipment or its trade value.

My Zon would qualify then, not a mark on it.

  6. Does it have standard Mike Lull neck geometry (i.e., 1-7/8ths" nut width, 12" constant-radius fingerboard) ?

    What kind of pickups?

    Bluesy Soul

Trade has been arranged - thanks for your interest. I believe this bass had standard dimensions and the pickups were the custom wound Basslines.
