FS: Mint SWR SM-400s Head $525

SWR SM-400s in excellent condition. Tube preamp, stereo solid state power amp can deliver 250 very toneful watts per side or run bridged at 550 into 4 ohms. This is the 2-space hybrid bass head that started it all--and many players believe it's still one of the finest sounding amp heads ever made. Used only lightly, home studio, no smoke. Second owner--first owner was a friend who treated the head similarly--gently. Comes with all original paperwork, original box, everything. Never dropped, only loved. Combo suits me now, so I'm downsizing. Please add $25 ground insured shipping to lower 48. Questions welcome. No digital camera, but www.swrsound.com has lots of pics, and the only wear to speak of is a little faint rack marking. The back looks showroom new.
