If you are looking at this then you most likely have the Modulus bug. I'd love to hold onto this bass but I'm going back to school and I'm also switching to g****r for a band I'm in. This leaves me a bit strapped for cash and my 4 stringer has been getting me through the bass gig. It is in great condition with a couple of nics which I have tried to note in pictures. One of the tone knobs is missing. This shoudln't bee too big of a problem, the knob works perfectly. It was shipped to me this way. I recieved a real puny gig bag with this bass and got a beefier road ready bag which it will ship in. It has bartolini pickups and preamp. It is the best sounding Modulus I've owned. The chechen fingerboard really makes this bass sing. If you have any questions shoot em on over my way. Only $1600 shipped with a gig bag
Maybe a super cheapie if ya have one. Need cash... playing a bit more g****r now and am going back to school so I'm a bit strapped.
so i suppose you have no interest in my Thunderbolt? http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=446390
Should be gone in 5. . . 4. . . 3. . . 2. . . 1. . . Seriously, I just saw one of these fly off eBay for $2350. This is a STUPID good price!
I believe this was mine, and I can attest that this is by FAR the best sounding Q5 you will ever encounter. It blows everything else I've touched in the Q5 realm away, past or present.
S/N puts it at 1997, I believe. So if memory serves me, it doesn't have a truss rod. Somebody will speak up if I'm incorrect.
I'm going to verify it's SN against my old one, and if it's the same, I wouldn't mind being on the extremely short list, if you ever decide to let it go! I'd love to have this back.
