    Hello all!

For sale is an early 2000's (not sure) Modulus Vintage Jazz 4 String in natural finish. Active/passive Bartolini pickups & preamp, carbon fiber neck, brand new black pickguard. This is definitely a sick bass, amazing feel, all the best aspects of a modulus (neck, consistency, durability) with a killin jazz bass tone.

I am being very thorough in the interest of full disclosure, so there is a lot of detail in the pics. NONE OF THE THINGS SHOWN IN THE PICS ARE VISIBLE FROM A FEW FEET AWAY. Its a players instrument, I've taken it on a few national tours, but all the issues are cosmetic, nothing that affects the playability. Got some nicks, scratches, a bit of corrosion on the hardware which I assume is from sweat on scorching stages. I hope the pictures answer most questions about the condition.

    Here are some specs:

34" Scale bolt-on Carbon Fiber Neck
    21 Frets
Bartolini J Style Active/Passive (knob switch activates preamp)
    1.5" at the nut
    9.8 lb

Yep, 9.8 lb. Measured it by difference between my body weight with/without and just the bass on the scale. Its also not really a noticeable difference between the modulus and my 8.5 lb nash.

This makes me wonder what the difference between this one and mine. I just weighed it again, with and without me on the scale, and it range up 11.6lbs.

The new owner will LOVE this bass. Best thing modulus has going on right now.
