Bluegreen stain Korina/Wenge MTD535. Simply amazing bass, I'm switching back to 5's with narrower string spacing. Shows some finish wear but plays perfectly, thus the unusually low price of $1900 shipped (lower 48).

Those people who made offers last time I listed this (I chickened out on selling it ... but I'm going through with it this time!) have first dibs.

Strung with medium fresh DR fat beams. The action is ULTRA low and snappy, without any excessive buzz. Slap and finger funk heaven.

    SOLD pending payment.

Note: the bass comes in the original hardshell case, not the case shown in this photo.

  7. Killer bass for the price!

If I had the scratch, I'd be all over it. Someone will be happy with this one!

The really disgusting part is, this is exactly the bass I was looking for to compliment my 24, but the chambered model came along and circumstances dictated I jump on that instead. Just not fair. I have to stop coming to the forsale forums. :)

I have played that CD so much that it's practically falling apart. Did Hubert Eaves play an MTD on it?

    That hurts :help:

  16. I'd also like to point out that that clip is the perfect example of how notes lower than B can be extrememly musical and moving. Just, wow

Maybe this'll make you feel a little better ;)

(don't mind my quickly learned / recorded, sloppy slap attempt at 16.5mm spacing though... :ninja: )

Yea baby YEAH! Thanks man! Can't wait to get my hands on that warwick.

I actually bought that live record and have been spinning it and loving it. For sure it sounds killer. And my MTD sounds just like his. I can totally see myself having an MTD again in the future ... but for now I'm going to try some other things.

C'mon, I know some of you guys have HELOCs you can write checks from :ninja:

Ok, you guys are ticking me off at this point. For the record, my favorite example of Hubert's playing, and the nasty tone of that MTD is on Boogie Nights/All Night Long. . . pure dirty, funky, stank, nastiness. I'm going to buy a lottery ticket today, so plan on this being sold tomorrow. :eyebrow:

(...running to the bank to check on loan rates before Gruuv can win the lottery, and put it in a new Slim bag, just to make it worse...)
