    This was Norm Stockton's personal "clone" bass that Mike Tobias built for him, so he could leave his original 535 #252 home. He used this bass on tour with Lincoln Brewster for a while before Mike built him the new US Saratoga line that he uses now.

    Here are the specs, if you're not familiar with Norm's setup.

    * Tulipwood Body
    * Myrtle Burl Top
    * Wenge Neck and Fingerboard
    * Matching Headstock
    * 19mm spacing and 35" scale
    * Weighs right around 8 pounds
    * MTD Zero Gravity Case

    Bass comes with the slap ramp that Norm uses. It screws into the truss rod cover, which you can see in the pictures. There are two small dings; one on the back and one on the bottom. Both visible in the pics. Neither go through the finish. Bass is light, balanced, punchy and wooden sounding. Slap tone is ridiculous.

    $3000 shipped in the US via UPS Ground.

    Nice bass, I have a 535 that is Ash/maple/maple. Do you need cash or are you up for a swap possibly?

    I presume it's 21 frets, not 24?

    It is legit my friend. THis bass has moved quite a bit lately and was posted on the bay on a previous sale, but it is a nice bass. Maybe no one can handle the Norm mojo:D

    Maybe you did not meant to offend the O/P. but I think you did.

    I got to play this amazing bass last year when Norm & Lincoln were there for a concert. Fell in love with it...but just can't afford it right now. And yes...the combo of Norm & Lincoln Brewster...awesome praise and worship music!!!

    Mega-bump for my favorite bass of all time!

    How would you describe the tone compared to other MTDs?
