I closed the old thread because now this is FOR SALE ONLY. I just made a purchase and need to recoup the loss (or gain, depending how you look at it).

I have here a 1995 MusicMan Sterling. It is all original in Cobalt Blue with a Birdseye Maple Neck and Fretboard. It is the standard 1-1/2" nut with 22 frets. This neck is the fastest, most comfortable neck I have ever played. The on-board preamp works perfectly and no pops from the series/parallel switch. Strung with Elixirs.

There are a couple of dings, scratches, and buckle rash that I have shown in the pictures. Other than that, this thing is BEAUTIFUL! This sale includes the original hard shell case.

    $825 shipped OBO
    Please help me move this!

Bump because I just don't understand why these mid-90s Sterlings don't sell like hotcakes. They're f-ing incredibly well made, comfortable, versatile basses. The heel contour is sublime, especially with the inset neck plate. Stingrays seem to fly out the door for good money but I'll take a Sterling every time! This one seems like a real nice example, if I wasn't looking to thin my own herd I'd snag it. Oh well.

Just string it BEAD, you don't need that G string anyway.

Thanks for all the love guys, this thing really is beautiful and sounds great!
