FS only - Tobias Killer B4 - MINT!!!

    Got this for a price I couldn't pass up. Incredible bass - but I still am a Stingray guy at heart.

    The bass is in MINT condition! I can't find a single mark on the bass body or neck (even with my glasses on!) The Bart pickups have VERY slight (and few) marks. I think they come that way from the factory, as I've never seen one without some mark on it.

    Comes in the Tobias hard shell case. No case candy.

    I believe the wood is Bublinga (but not 100% sure). The wood is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!

    No scale in the house, but it's one of the heavier versions. I would estimate 10-11 pounds?? I played it at a practice last night and with a padded (semi-wide) strap, I had no problem leaving it on for a few hours.

    While this is a Gibson build, the quality is there. I've got a few other "boutique" basses and this is in the same league. I believe the only Tobias bass being made currently is a (limited edition) Growler, that lists for over $3,000! Could end up being collectable!


    Got this for a GREAT deal and will pass it along.

    Through today - (pre-EBAY sale) - SOLD!

    No trades at this time, as this bass put me one over my self-imposed bass quota.

    gonna run this here only for a few days - then list it (you know where) as I'd like to sell quickly (before the credit card bill comes in and I have to pay for this!) :)

    No love for this stunning bass??

    If I didn't need new brakes and front end bushings - I'd figure a way to keep it here.

    Thanks, for the bump, WWOLOF - I hear ya on the bills - thats the main reason this incredible bass can't stay here. :bawl:

    My apologies for the breach of TB etiquette (more than one bump in a day) - but she's going up on EBAY later tonight (for higher than asking price here) - and I wanted to give all TB'ers first shot at this NICE bass!

    Build quality and playability rival all the "boutique" basses I've had (Lakland, Alembic, Ken Smith, Steinberger, Modulus, and several I've forgotten).

    I'll buy it if...you can hold it. I really will I love Tobias's idk why but when I first started playing I saw a Tobias in my teachers shop and I knew I needed one so....Please if you could hold it I'll buy it

    It wont take me long to get all the money I have 150 now + $400 (pay check) + B-Day money

    Idk I just bought an SX Jazz bass anyway. I'd love to get it but no money...if you ever change your mind and need the cash, I can get $700 maybe more...idk
