Well, I'm stepping away from playing such nice instruments and focusing on just playing my Fenders and shedding rather than being so focused on gear and all that. Plus, a little extra cash in the bank account wouldn't hurt at this stage of my life either!

First up is a Warrior Soldier 5.

This is an older Warrior, and I got it knowing that it needs a little work. The upper horn was damaged when the previous owner attempted to remove the old straplocks which were seized up and would not come out. How they did that, I have no clue, and I'm fairly sure I don't want to know!

The only other issue the bass has is that here in the cold and dry of the Colorado winter, the frets have lifted a bit, but I took it to a local luthier and he said it just needs a bit of filing and good as new. Easy and fairly cheap job. (~$50) My pricing reflects all of these things. The bass does have a brand new set of DR lo-riders on it currently. A word of advice as well, this bass requires a Gibson style truss rod tool. I only have one, that I've had in my toolbox for years, so you'll need to grab one from your local GC or somewhere similar.

The bass is an ash body with a very nice flame maple top with a maple neck and birdseye maple board.

The electronics consist of a Basslines Musicman pickup with a 3 band preamp. The volume knob is push/pull for series/parallel on the pickup. The bass actually sounds very good, and I like it quite a bit. The neck is a nice shape and very quick.

The bass will come with a Warrior Gig bag.[DEL]$1200[/DEL] $1000

The damage to the top horn:

Next up is a Stambaugh singlecut. I just traded for this bass, and it is fantastic in every way, as have most of the Stamgaugh basses I've played over the years.

This particular bass is an ash body with a macassar ebony top, a 3 piece maple neck with a flame maple stripe down the middle and a birdseye maple fretboard with wenge binding and ebony blocks.

The electronics on this bass are a set of Nordstrand pickups with a 2 band Nordie preamp. The pickups are in the 60's positions and the bass sounds very big! I like the tone a lot.

The bass will come with a TKL case and a set of straplocks. The price is a bit lower than I would like because this bass also needs the fret ends filed a bit. Gotta love the dryness, even with a humidifier!

    [DEL]$2000[/DEL] $1600

I am not interested in trades at this point, so please refrain from offering them, as I really don't want to waste your time.

I will entertain offers, but low-balls will be ignored. Thanks for looking!

What is the string spacing for the Stambaugh at the nut and bridge ... please? :)

The neck looks nice and thin for a fiver. Was this built to be a close string space bass? Say 16.5 mm?

18mm at the bridge and about 10mm at the nut.

The neck is thin, but with enough girth that it feels nice in your hands.

Willing to look at somewhat low ball offers. I need to move these.
