This is an *awesome* bass and I hate to part with it, but I have a new bass coming in I have to pay for; getting into a more Jazz bass vibe these days. Priced to move. Includes a Wood & Tronics gig bag in excellent shape. There are a few light scratches in the back, not deep, probably can be buffed out, in fact. I believe the top is a quilted mahogany. It has a great flaming look to it that I didn't capture very well in the pics. Additional specs: Walnut body, Alder tone block, Ebony fingerboard with MOP dot inlays, 7 pc wenge/maple/ebony neck, neck-through, Nordstrand pickups, McKeen preamp, Hipshot Ultra-Light tuners, ETS Transmission bridge, 34" scale. The tone on this thing is absolutely huge and it does a spot-on (IMO) P-bass sound on the neck pickup, which has been handy in my R&B situations. Playability is excellent-- as good as any high-end bass I've ever played, and the workmanship is top-notch. Asking $2000 shipped from Durham, NC to lower 48. Some pics:
Sweet bass! ... I've never heard of them before (the name kinda reminds me of a high-end home entertainment company ... like B&O ) Good luck with the sale! It's always nice to see new types of basses.
Thanks for the comments. It is a funk machine, no doubt about it. Selling this one means I'm about due for GAS detox. Wood & Tronics website: http://www.wtbasses.net/
Really, how can you sell this??? Great price too, this one shouldn't last long. If it was a 33" it would be already gone!
No idea, there... I have a little boutique bass shop near by and I go down there (against my better judgement) and end up playing something I really like with a different sound, you know??
This bass is now sitting at Conn-signment Music in Raleigh, NC off of Capital Blvd for anyone that is interested in checking it out.
The must beautifull bass Erick and Enriko have done in my opinion. I was at enriko house with my friends a few years ago when W&T basses were starting to sell. After very good italian pasta with parmesan we compare W&t basses(two of them)against two foderas(one Enricos and one Robertos). foderas were heavy as rock uffff and big bodied W&T basses were winners(sound ,playability, and look)and that was few years ago i cant imagine how good are they now. PS - Roberto sold his Fodera and he went on W&T basses
these basses are quickly climbing my GAS ladder. Beautiful piece, I would love to try one out some time.. Durham is only 4 hours away.... hmmm
Actually, it is in Raleigh at a boutique bass shop on consignment. The shop is called Conn-signment Music 919-341-0686. DEFINATELY call before you make the trip to make sure the guy is there. Or I can run down and pick it up or let him know you are coming. But look at it this way-- you can check out all the other great basses he's got if you go to his place! That's where my Elrick came from. I have some flexibility on the price.
cool man, thanks. If I know I'm headed that way, I'll call first. If only I had known, I was in Raleigh for a gig last weekend
Price drop to $1600 and I will consider trades for 5 string basses of equivalent or lesser value + cash.
Mmmm... string space at bridge?? Looks like 19mm for me, but body is smaller than other singlecuts, so I can be wrong... Do you have some sound sample around?? I love to heard those Nordy's!!!
Well, I'm sure the new owner will be very happy!!! Thanks!! Pd: I always lost the ones I love... that's really bad!!!
