Okay, here it is again. I pulled this off last time because I liked it too much, but now I have a few new, amazing basses, so I'm going to let this one slide to fund my purchase of some Dr. Bass cab's (considering my rig 'walked away' from a concert).

    From Wikipedia:
It's a pretty great bass; has a great tone, sustain, everything. I bought it from a deceased jazz musician's family around ten tears ago, and played it never since. I never gigged with it, but I did play it. I cared for it greatly, hence it's still in really good shape. There's a tad of wear on the side of the neck, and a few deepish scratches on the bottom right, but that's just from the jazz musician before that I'm sure loved it a lot.

You don't find these very often!

Here's some photos from the last time I listed this beauty:

Here you can see some minor wear on the bottom.

It's not through-body, but it's still MIA. It also can still sustain just as good as a through-body design.

Here's the neck. Serial number #006950, a tad of surface rust, I'll take that off before it's shipped.
Also, there's some minor wear on the wood. That's what you get when you love a bass for thirty years, I guess.

    Amazing neck.

Somebody's going to get an awesome bass here!

I'll also throw in the original hard-case; which I'll ship it in as well.

Now, let's get to business. I'll ship this bass to your door for $525 + shipping, directly to my PayPal. I'll take E-Check's and Instant Payments. I'll also ship UPS ground, insured.

If you want to trade: I need cabs! If you have two 210's, or one 410, PM ME; I'll trade!

    Peace!

Let me check. I'm 99% sure it's the 34" scale.

    Edit: Yeah, it's the 34".

    Cool bass!

I remember these from the early 80's...they have a surprisingly full deep sound for such a little pickup. Great bass that you don't see every day.

    Thanks dude!

I'm a 6-string guy now, so I'm thinning the herd of old fouries.

And it really is an amazing bass! Remember- I'll still trade for any kind of cab that I can gig with.

yep. some of the deepest toned recordings we've done are with one of these. never saw the burst finish, cool. i just returned the one i had on loaner for 4 years to a friend.

a chance to own something few know anything about that might just surprise you. fender simplicity and an 'oddity'
