  1. I have two of these and I'm not really playing 4-string anymore, not to mention I was just hit with a very large, unplanned expense. So, this great bass has to move.
I've owned numerous Rumblefish over the years and several bandmates said this was the best-sounding one of the bunch. If you've played and/or heard one, you know the deal. This one is the 62nd bass made by Reverend, in 1998. White/tort/rosewood. The body is semi-hollow and made of a wood/resin combo with a white mahogany center block fastened to the top and back by steel rods. The fretboard edges are rolled for a broken-in feel. Kent Armstrong J pickups, volume/volume/tone. Currently strung with a nearly new set of D'Addario Chromes. It also comes with the super-cool, red plush-lined tuxedo teardrop case.
Cosmetically, it's in great condition for a 15-year-old bass, just two tiny marks on the front (last photo) that would hardly show up, and a tiny nick out of the bottom edge of the body, again very difficult to photograph. (Sorry for the low-quality Blackberry pics. I can take some better ones if needed.)
The only issue with the bass is that over the years, it has developed a slight dip on the bass side of the neck, above the 12th fret. This results in higher action on the upper frets of the E string. The bridge saddle still has room to come down a bit. I am a stickler for medium-to-low action, and the bass is still very playable on those upper E-string frets. The rest of the neck has low action and no buzzing.
$700 shipped CONUS. Paypal or USPS money order. No trades, I need the cash!

These are amazingly playable basses that have a tone that sings and this example is a rare one. If only I didn't have so many basses....
