Hey is that a Cochrane bass as your avatar?

    Free bump for ya.
  6. I've got one like this beauty... Did a studio session recently and pulled a great DB sound (pluck near neck with meaty fingertips). Even gets a great sound with OD+midboost and using a pick for that 50's to 70's rock sound. Very versatile.

Yes it is. Not mine, tho. I wish, altho I'll bet it weighs more than 8 pounds.

    Thanks for the bump.

I'll bet all of us would love to hear a clip. I sure would.

Somehow I never thought of playing a Mouse w/ a pick. Seriously: Post a clip(s)!

  12. Another pm to seller.
  13. Only have recording of DB sound, album not released yet. I'll try post link ASAP though.

Never thought a pick would work on Fretless either, but if it was good enough for Sting....

Gets a pimped up McCartney-Hofner bass sound -> palm mute/ thinner pick near bridge for that clacky/ quick decay.

Thick pick/ solid attack gets plenty of thump (try HPF out the mud, then boost lows in 80-120Hz range = yum).
