This is about as close to mint as you can get in a Fender Roscoe Beck V in Teal Green Metallic w/ matching headstock, which is really closer to blue than green in my opinion (very similar in color to my LPB 70's reissue Jazz). Anyways, immaculate shape, original tan super-heavy duty tolex (not tweed) case with all the candy. I HATE to let this one go.. but, alas, too many basses, so they say...

Lots of tonal variety due to electronics, as follows:

CONTROLS: Master Volume, Master Tone (with Push/Pull Mid Shaping Feature)

PICKUP SWITCHING: 3-Position Blade Pickup Selector Switch:
Position 1. (Bridge Side), Bridge Pickup
Position 2. (Middle), Bridge and Neck Pickups
Position 3. (Neck Side), Neck Pickup

    2-Mini-Toggle Coil Selector Switches:

    Mini-Toggle Switch 1:
Position 1. (Bridge Side), Both Coils of Neck Pickup in Series Humbucking
Position 2. (Middle), Front Coil of Neck Pickup
Position 3. (Neck Side), Both Coils of Neck Pickup in Parallel Humbucking

    Mini-Toggle Switch 2:
Position 1. (Bridge Side), Both Coils of Bridge Pickup in Series Humbucking
Position 2. (Middle), Front Coil of Bridge Pickup
Position 3. (Neck Side), Both Coils of Bridge Pickup in Parallel Humbucking

    Push/Pull Mid-Shaping Tone Switch/Pot

    Whew...

Asking $1,250 shipped in CONUS w/ Paypal. Excuse the not-so-great pix, my newer digital camera is MIA and I had to resort to it's ancient predecessor...

Great bass - one clarification though:

That push/pull is not a mid shaper, its the way you "roll off" the neck pickup a bit.

Since these basses have a three way switch for the pickups, there was no way to blend between them. Roscoe Beck had the push/pull installed, it basically inserts a cap between the output of the neck pickup and the output, lowering the output of the neck pickup, but leaving the bridge pickup at full volume.

It's like rolling of the neck pickup a little on a standard Jazz a little to get a little of that fingerstyle "burp" from the bridge.

I had one of these form 1998 (right after they were released) through until about 3 years ago - FANTASTIC basses, very versatile, no battery to go dead!

    Good luck with the sale!

Sundaybender, thanks for the clarification (I pulled that info from a website and didn't pay careful attention); yes, the push/pull is the equivalent of rolling off the neck pickup volume on a Jazz for the Jaco-esque vibe...

Also, for all the inquiring minds, bass weighs in at 9.5 lbs on the trusty bathroom scale.. it is not at all a heavy bass, and balances perfectly...
