***SOLD*** Got this off a fellow TB’er a couple years ago, and have loved it since. But I’m living/teaching overseas now (China), and don’t dare bring this one over. It deserves a better fate than to sit unused. Sad, because this is tied for best-sounding bass I’ve ever owned (along with my old Ken Smith).

    - Mahogany body/Walnut top/Maple board
    - Roscoe Barts/18V Bart NTMB
    - 9.2 lbs, 18mm string spacing
    - Excellent condition
    - Tone, tone, and more tone

$1600 plus shipping conus. Comes with Roscoe lightcase, and I’ll throw in a new set of D’Addario XLs.

Only trade I might possibly consider would be towards a 5- or 6-string all-graphite neck (Zon/Status/Mod), which I feel could better withstand time and travel.

I’d like to move it before I fly back in August, so no bites here and it’s off to the bay (unless I come to my senses first). PM me with questions, and thanks for looking!

    PM's responded to, thanks!

And trbostic, the one bass I have in China is a Fujigen Jazz 5 (aka MIJ Fender), so I got the Fender-ish J5 thing covered. Thanks though! :)

I owned this bass for a short bit of time. Really a great sounding bass - very balanced between the warmth of the mahogany and the snap of the maple.

And the plys of wood aren't too shabby either! ;)
