Up for sale is a recently acquired custom Sadowsky/Mike Lull jazz bass. I got this bass from a great TB'r who goes by the alias "funkyjudge". I got this bass in hopes that I would be switching from 5's to 4's but my band is demanding of me a 5 so I have to let this one go. This bass is aesthetically gorgeous. It is in near mint condition. Weighing in at 7lbs, this bass is a pleasure to play. The bass consists of a Chambered Sadowsky body with a Mike Lull neck. It has Aguilar pickups and preamp. The playability on this bass is outstanding as it was PLEK'd by Mike himself. The action is low with no buzzing. This bass sounds really great in either passive or active mode. Active mode really brings out the bottom end and gives it a nice bite.

    The knobs are:
    1. Master Volume
    2. Pickup blend
    3. VTC/Push Pull for active/passive and high boost in active mode
    4. Mids boost
    5. Low boost.

    Asking $2100 shipped CONUS

The bass will be shipped in a very nice Reuinion Blues gig bag.

Folks -- This is a spectacular bass, and if I had the available cash, I would buy her back in a heartbeat (I may still do that, if I can quickly get the funds together)!!! It has an absolutely "classic Jazz Bass tone" in passive mode, and a great modern Jazz sound, without being over-boosted, in active mode! The Aguilar pickups and preamp really make for great tonal color, with no harshness.

Mike is also a great guy to deal with!

I'll entertain partial trades, but for the most part I'm looking for cash.

Mike - I am trying to get the money together to buy this bass back from you. I should know for sure tomorrow whether I have the cash, but one thing is for sure, I WANT HER BACK!

7 pounds. Nice. I need a light jazz bass, but this is a bit much for me. Bump for a sweet bass.

This thing is just ridiculous. I really wish that I could justify owning such a nice 4 string but I'm glad that Doug will be getting her back.
