Greetings all. . . I love my Metro. But having the opportunity to play someone's RV4 I think a rosewood board would suit me better at this time and I can't afford to have both. I've got a natural MS5 that I'm going to reluctantly part with. I recently (last month) sent it back to Roger and Co. for some extras. There they installed a clear half guard (for the vintage feel when slapping, etc...), strap locks, and VTC. Additionally, I had a fret dressing and set-up done to ensure top playability - $450 worth of work, but it plays a sounds like a dream, easily as well as any NYC I've played (and I've played/owned several). I'm asking $1950 shipped to the lower 48. No trades please. . . If you dig the look of the Standard series but want a vintage feel (as I do) this bass is where it's at. In near mint condition, no dings, only minor finish scuffs only visible in the right light (could probably be buffed out with polish, I've just not tried). Comes with Sadowsky ultralite case, warranty paper, tools, etc...

I have high quality pictures that I can e-mail to interested parties. Thanks TB --

All PM's/e-mails responded to. . . much interest but no bites yet. This is a monster bass everyone, and this is a great price for all of the (recent) upgrades -- in my opinion of course!

Do you know how much it weighs?

Are the straplocks Jim Dunlop style?

The weight is approximately 8.70 pounds. The straplocks are Dunlops, chrome.

    Thanks. . .
