  1. This one isn't getting any play time, so it's time to let it go. Plus I really only play 5 strings these days.

Alder body, Pau Ferro fretboard. This bass is solid and punchy, resonates like crazy. Every drummer I play with says this is their favorite bass of mine. Precision style body.

It's in nice shape, with some playing wear, mostly in the form of two dings, one near the strap button on the bottom, the other on the lower horn. Came that way when I got it, and neither can be seen while you play.

Looking for $2000, I'll cover shipping in Canada. I can ship to the States but you'll have to cover that. I'll chip in the equivalent of what Canadian shipping would be if that's the case.

Comes in a sweet Mike Lull Protec case.

I shouldn't be looking at this. But... What's she weigh? Is the pickup placement on the J pup 60's or 70's or ? What's the control layout ? Does it have a VTC (vintage tone control)? Is the neck a J or P width ?
    Thanks,
    Al

    It's actually a full sized body. Same as a 60's P

  5. weights 9.5 lbs on my bathroom scale.
I believe the bridge pickup would be 60's position. Jazz style neck. VTC included.

Thanks Bikeplate, I thought it was smaller. Fixed.

Yep. 60's position for the j pickup. I've got one of the first hybrids shipped from Japan. The neck is killer. I tune it from E to E flat all the time w no hesitation. Always plays and sounds intense. Don't hesitate people

Make this fiesta red nitro w/ vintage tint satin neck and I'd never need another bass.

Played this bass and it was like butta.
Huge bass and real nice action.
If it were a 5 er it would be in my stable.

Would so get this if it weren't for pesky import taxes. Just sold the MV4 version of this and really want to get one like this. Have a free bump.

Very tempting! But like you I play Sadowsky 5s and this would not get much time on the road but a good P is always a nice thing.

Ugh...great bass, within Canada too. Just out of my price range, though. I'll have to see if I can sell some gear! Free bump!

  17. I've decided to keep it, thanks for all your interest.
