    SOLD SOLD SOLD

I bought this new a few months ago and while I absolutely *love* the tone and build quality, I'm finding that I just am not a 19mm spacing kinda guy. So I'm either going to find another Zon fretted 5 like I had before, some other 17mm spaced 5 that sends me.

This is a true swiss-army-bass. PJ setup covers all your basses. Has VTC. No issues bass. New these are $2700.

I know things change, but the way you praised this bass on the Urban Gospel on a P-bass thread, I thought this was surely a keeper.

Best of luck on your new Zon, if that's what you are getting. I have Zon GAS myself!:bassist:

Weight is 9.5lbs per Sadowsky when I bought it. Balance is excellent either on strap or sitting.

If playing bass were about sound and build quality, this would definitely be a keeper. But turns out that there are only so many tricks this old dog can learn. The narrower string spacing makes me quicker on the bass. Slapping be (mostly) damned for me...

I'm on the hunt for another Zon 5. I don't think I can switch back to 4-string either...

Thanks. It is a great instrument. Someone will be very happy. I think I found my next Zon, so a price drop to help fan the fires. $2100 SHIPPED in the CONUS.

PM's replied. Sunburst Sadowsky Goodness (SSG) still available but one offer is in the ballpark.
